Apple has been developing touch screen alternatives that would let it offer inexpensive multi-touch panels made out of plastic, as oppose to glass according to a newly-published US patent filing. The new displays would put near-transparent, capacitive wires in rows on one panel and link them to columns on another. CEO of Apple Inc., Steve Jobs has one of the best employee ratings amongst thousands of corporate CEOs. The survey included over 40,000 worker reviews and some 9,800 companies worldwide. At present, Jobs is rated well by 91%of his employees. In relation, more average ratings included Michael Dell with having a 66% satisfaction rate, Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer with 55%. The FCC held public hearings on early termination fees on Thursday. The FCC’s Chairman, Kevin J. Martin, would like rules established to ensure early termination fees are in relation to the recovery costs and not abused in a manner to retain unsatisfied customers within a carrier. An example Martin gives is that US$500 phone shouldn’t have the same termination fee as a US$50 phone.

Now this is all slightly shady business, but Kevin Chen, General Manager of HTC Middle East, Africa & CIS, reportedly stated that HTC devices may have Windows Mobile 7 running in early 2009.
The original source site for this information has gone down and replaced with an "account suspended" notice.
The new Windows Mobile 7 is expected to do a lot of things, but Microsoft has yet to confirm any information that has been floating around.
